The Clinical Laboratory Manager Blood Bank will report to the laboratory director with responsibilities that include overseeing lab operations across ambulatory sites, developing and implementing lab policies, coordinating and integrating lab services with clinical teams to support patient care, supervising daily workflow, staff scheduling, task assignments, and productivity monitoring. Additional duties include managing budget, cost control, supply inventory, and equipment maintenance, identifying improvement opportunities and supporting the implementation of new services or processes, maintaining and using the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and reporting tools for data analysis, hiring, training, evaluating, and developing staff, and assisting with facility planning for lab expansions, remodels, or equipment upgrades. Individuals earning quick interviews will have a General Supervisor License through the state of Tennessee, a minimum of 3 years' experience as an MT, leadership experience, and blood bank-specific experience.
