Scientific Laboratory Technician

Position Details:

Scientific Laboratory Technician- Racine, WI
Location : Racine, WI 53403 - Onsite

Project Duration : 4+ Months of contract

Job Summary:

• 2+ years in a laboratory setting
• Ability to operate laboratory testing equipment in a Chemistry Laboratory
• Ability to write reports and recommendations based on lab results.
• Ability to maintain concise and accurate records of laboratory experiments and other documentation in Electronic Lab Notebook system.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to rigorously follow lab protocols.

Technology Proficiencies :

• MS Office products (Word, Power point, Outlook)

Preferred Attributes :

• Understanding of the functional properties, proper use, and the environmental impact of ingredients
• Possess an understanding of regulatory processes, i.e., EPA registrations; experience
• Design of Experiments or Statistical analysis skills
• Scientific curiosity and the ability to solve technical problems related to packaging, formulation and manufacturing

• Maintain concise and accurate records of laboratory experiments and other documentation in Electronic Lab Notebook system.
• Keep Engineers and Scientists well informed of project status and results of laboratory investigations
• Prepare samples and track documentation for stability, micro-challenge, toxicological, clinical, and performance testing.
• Follow general lab safety guidelines and maintain a clean, orderly work area
• Operate laboratory test equipment in a Chemistry laboratory.
