We're seeking a detail-oriented Microbiology Lab Technician to support microbiological testing in a fast-paced lab setting. No lab experience is requiredtraining provided. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a world-class global food safety and quality partner that offers services to the food and nutrition industry!

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay: $18.50/hr + required overtime

Schedule: Mon-Fri or Tues-Sat | 10:00/11:00 AM - 7:30/8:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Prepare and process samples for microbiological testing

Pour agar, pipette solutions, and record findings

Incubate and analyze sample growth on plates/tubes

Perform tests including pathogen, pH, and food safety analyses

Maintain cleanliness, sterilize equipment, and follow safety protocols

Accurately enter data into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

No lab experience is requiredtraining provided.

At least 1 year in a fast-paced environment such as manufacturing, production, warehousing, food handling, food service, retail, or similar settings
