EMS Supervisor

Full job description

We are looking for an EMS Supervisor to join our team in northeastern Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success handling recruiting and staffing.  Basic Human resources knowledge and able to promote teamwork among the staff.  They will report to a board of directors.

In addition to the qualifications listed below, we are looking for a candidate with a strong work ethic and coachability. They must also be able to work independently and as part of a team. They must be open to feedback and be willing to change their approach when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of a small ambulance company, including scheduling, dispatching, and quality assurance with the support of an assistant
• Oversee the recruiting and staffing of drivers and  EMTs as needed
• Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations

Qualifications

• An Emergency Medical Technician or higher
• 3+ years of supervisory experience
• 3+ years of experience in the healthcare industry
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Strong work ethic
