Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (Radiology Technologist)

Position Summary: Prepping and monitoring patients during cardiovascular imaging and invasive heart procedures. Assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of disease or injury by creating images using imaging equipment. Operating diagnostic imaging equipment. Administering contrast. Assisting physicians and coworkers with procedures. Monitoring patient vital signs during procedures. Maintaining supplies and radiation safety.
Experience
Required: 1 to 3 years Cath Lab/Special Procedures/Radiology experience.
Preferred: EKG interpretation preferred
Education
Required: Diploma/Associates Degree/bachelors degree from accredited radiology or cardiovascular program.
License and Credentials
Required: ARRT and NJ Radiology license required OR (CV), CVT, RCVT/ RCIS. BLS required
Preferred: ACLS preferred, must obtain within one year of hire
Skills
Required: understand radiation safety, experience with patient care or interaction
Bi-Weekly Hours: 80
Work Schedule: 7:30am to 6:00pm plus on call.
The minimum starting rate for this position is $40.88
