We are looking for skilled EMTs to join our Medical Response Team in Rayville, LA. This full-time, first-shift role provides the opportunity to respond quickly and effectively to medical emergencies, ensuring the health and safety of employees on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
First Response to Incidents: Be the first point of contact for all injuries, illnesses, or medical incidents on-site, providing immediate care and assistance.
Quick Response Bag: Keep a quick response bag within arms length for immediate first-aid treatment when necessary.
Incident Triage: Triage incidents by administering first aid or referring employees to a medical facility for further treatment.
Escorting Injured Employees: If required, escort employees to an Occupational Health Clinic or Emergency Room for additional care.
Follow-Up Care: Monitor and follow up with injured employees to ensure that their restrictions are being met.
Incident Logging: Maintain an accurate and detailed log of all incidents and injuries to ensure proper documentation and reporting.
Qualifications:
EMT Certification with an active state license
Proven experience in emergency medical care and first aid
Ability to stay calm and provide care in high-pressure situations
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees and healthcare professionals
Organizational skills for maintaining incident logs
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Work Schedule:
Full-time, First Shift position
Monday through Friday, with occasional flexibility as needed
