We have an immediate opening for a certified laboratory technician to work in our busy Chelsea private practice office. Responsibilities Include: Performs specimen collection and processing duties as needed or assigned Performs routine and special laboratory tests; analyzes human fluid samples on advanced analytical equipment Monitors, screens, and troubleshoots any analytical device responsible for deriving critical patient information. These tasks include calibrations, quality control, run-by-run assessment, instrument maintenance, statistical control of observed data, and recording of normal operations. Required Experience/Skill s: MLT or MT (ASCP) certification in New York State Excellent veral and written communication skills Strong organizational abilities Able to work efficiently independently or in a team environment Able to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and timelines Preferred Experience/Skill s: Experience in an accredited laboratory.
