Required Qualifications: Registered PSG Technologist or RRT or RN registered with the State of Ohio license, or registered EEG Technician. Job Title: Polysomnography Technologist (Casual) Company: Adena Health Systems Location: Chillicothe, OH Description: Complete Description The Polysomnographic Technologist is responsible for performing nocturnal polysomography scoring and performing therapeutic intervention for patients with sleep related breathing disorders. The technologist works collaboratively with other care team members physicians and the patient/family to achieve optimal outcomes. Has access to confidential patient information and makes decisions independently and with others. This individual works under the indirect supervision of the Electrophysiology Coordinator. Graduate of an AMA approved Associate degree program for Respiratory Therapy. Licensed by the state of Ohio. Registered by the NBRC. Expected to sit for the RPSGT exam within one year if not already credentialed. ACLS required. One year experience in Respiratory Therapeutics, including critical care and emergency procedures.
