D) The Unit Clerk responsibilities include performing clerical duties, acts as unit receptionist, coordinates unit/patient schedules and activities, proper use of computer and telephone and maintains an orderly and efficient nurses station. The Unit Clerk will interface with all guests, visitors, families and patients arriving or calling the nursing units. The incumbent provides directions and information as well as making appropriate referrals.
