Responsibilities may include: Data collection during overnight sleep studies. Application of monitoring electrodes and use of ancillary monitoring devices to perform attended studies. Continuous monitoring and documentation of patient activity throughout the sleep study to ensure patient safety and the production of quality recordings. Performing equipment maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting in order to achieve optimal data collection. Reviewing patient records, scoring nightly studies and preparing and generating the reports necessary for interpretation by physicians.
