Job Title: Paramedic/CCT/CST Full time - Company: Location: Lafayette, LA Description: Expanding mobile cardiac stress testing company is seeking people for immediate fulltime positions Occasional to Part time also available Duties: ? Manage hub records, filing, and completion of daily paperwork at customer site ? Responsible for Fleet Management and maintaining the supplies and equipment ? Preparation of patient for imaging and stress testing procedure, including patient interviews, obtaining medical history, obtaining patient consent and signatures, and conducting patient teaching related to nuclear imaging procedure including risks and complications ? Performing treadmill and pharmacological stress tests ? Assess patient?s blood pressure, pulse, respirations, lung sounds, and establish IV access, set up and monitor 12-lead EKG (Strong IV skills required) ? EKG Rhythm identification and interpretation ? Application of ACLS if necessary ? Onsite physician supervision Requirements: ? Current Paramedic license and/or CCT (Certified Cardiographic Technician) ? Prefer a minimum 3 years or more paramedic experience in emergency care settings with 12-lead EKG and/or 1 year or more stress testing experience but not required ? Current ACLS ? Current CPR (for HCW) ? Drivers License is required; license must not be suspended, restricted or revoked. ? Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and assist with pushing and pulling medical equipment up to 800lbs. ? Some travel necessary ? in state and possibly out of state ?
