Job Title: EEG Technologist II Company: The Emory Clinic Location: Atlanta, GA Description: JOB DESCRIPTION: Records neurophysiologic activity from brain and spinal cord using electroencephalography (EEG) or evoked potential response tests for use in the diagnosis and treatment of central nervous system disorders. Records continuous long-term EEG (ususally with video) in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. Prepares patients for tests, and records and analyzes results for review by a physician. This position provides assessment/care for the infant, pediatric adolescent, adult and geriatric patient based on current standards and guidelines of ASET. Requirements: High school graduate. College level course work in related fields and/or graduate of an accredited EEG technology program preferred. 1-2 years experience preferable hospital/patient care related. EEG Registry Preferred.
