At least five years of experience in surface and Intra-Cranial Electroencephalographic Video/ Telemetry Monitoring strongly preferred. Training experience in all modalities is highly desirable.Knowledge: Knowledge of human anatomy with emphasis on neuroanatomy, physiology, physics and medical electronics is essential in providing the basis for monitoring electroencephalograms (EEG's) and evoked potentials (EP's) and recognizing pathology related to the neurological data. Must have the ability to distinguish EEG and EP abnormalities on the recordings. Must have a complete understanding of recording sites and recording montages to help localize various abnormalities. Understanding of pharmacology, especially anti-epileptic and anesthetic medications, is essential, as is in-depth understanding of medical terminology. This position also requires in-depth knowledge of Electroneurodiagnostic equipment assembly and operation as well as routine maintenance and troubleshooting. Job Title: Sleep Technician & Neurodiagnostic Technician Wanted - Company: Location: denver, CO Description: Our newly built Sleep Medicine and Neurodiagnostic center is looking for a sleep/neurodiagnostic technician for part-time work (with an expected change to full time within a few months).
