Develop, maintain and monitor the delivery of excellence in patient care, through participation in our ongoing Service Excellence program initiatives. Develop goals and objectives for the department annually and review them monthly with the Director of Nursing Operations, the Medical Director of the ED, ED Physicians, and the staff. Manage a well staffed and terrific incumbent team including clinical leader, nurses, emergency room technicians, and secretaries. Ensure accountability for goals and objectives, as well as for ongoing review, evaluation, and revision of the standards of patient care within the Emergency Department. Primary focuses will be on patient satisfaction, employee satisfaction, patient flow, and process improvement around patient flow.
