Job Title: EMT TECH II - PER-DIEM - DAYS Company: Tenet Health Location: Indio, CA Description: The Emergency Department Technician II is a non-professional, emergency medical technician who assists with the direct care of emergency department patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse and who performs other essential non-direct patient duties. The ED Technician II performs EKGs, assists the physician with procedures/suturing, applies splints, performs wound care, takes vital signs and weights, collects specimens, performs CPR and assists the nursing staff as delegated. The ED Technician additionally transports patients via wheelchair or gurney and provides safety and comfort for patients and their families.
