Job Title: EEG Tech - Pool Position Company: WFH- Elmbrook Memorial Hospital  Location: Brookfield, WI Description: The EEG Technologist is responsible for providing EEG Diagnostic Testing. The primary duty of the EEG Tech is to exercise good communication and interpersonal skills; exercise good judgement, tact, and understanding in dealing with patients, visitors, physicians, and other associates. This is accomplished by working in one-on-one patient contact situations requiring a unique capacity for patience and compassion – and dedicated to treating each patient with absolute respect for their personal dignity. This position provides flexible hours on an out-patient basis with the willingness to cover an occasional emergent in-patient case.Schedule Monday - Friday afternoons & evenings with appointments at 2 00PM & 4 30PM.

Job Title: Neurodiagnostic Technician Company: Aurora Healthcare Location: Two Rivers, WI Description: Imagine Yourself....Performing a variety of neurodiagnostic procedures to evoke, record and study electrical physiology brain activities for use in diagnosing neurological disorders.Safely performing inpatient and outpatient electroencephalograms (EEGs) by applying suitable electrodes on predetermined positions on patient, monitoring the performance of the electrodes, calibrating and adjusting the test apparatus. Performing procedures according to the laboratory standards and implements alternative methods and/or adjusts controls to obtain optimal recordings. This may include appropriate control setting changes on the equipment, use of extra electrodes, extra montages and use of activation procedures.

Job Title: RN - Electrophysiology / WMG27505 Company: Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare Location: Wauwatosa, WI Description: Position Description:Triage patient telephone calls - answer questions, offer medical advice, authorize medications, and appropriately determine problems to be referred to the provider. Perform medical procedures specific to area and training: daily remote and transtelephonic device checks, maintain and regulate coumadin patients. Obtain patient history and perform physical assessment of cardiovascular electrophysiology patients within the clinic and hospital setting. Perform EKGs and provide interpretation. Collaborate with physician to determine treatment and/or discharge plan for patient. Patient and family teaching. Provider support during clinic: room patients, review of systems, device checks, chart prep. Act as a liaison between the provider and outside clinics, hospitals, state agencies, vendors and other health professionals. Maintain patient confidentiality. Keep abreast of developments in speciality practice. Qualifications:Masters or Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Accredited University preferred. Current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License.
