The incumbent works in the Cardiology section of Medical Service. Echocardiography Technician identifies and record anomalies indicative of disease, injury, or other medically significant condition from ultrasound imaging and simultaneous recordings of the Doppler. Follows departmental/hospital policy, procedures and protocols at all times. 2. Returns the patient to the appropriate area and prepares the room for the next study to decrease patient turn around time and increase patient satisfaction. ? Restocks and maintains assigned work area/equipment in an orderly and neat fashion. ? Organizes and plans activities relating to patient's procedures for assigned area. ? Will help out in other areas/rooms when needed to reduce patient wait times if not busy. ? Will make copies of patient's films to reduce patient wait time. 3.
