Non-Invasive Cardiac Tech Department: Cardiology Services Schedule: Variable Shift: Days Hours: Per Diem Job Summary: To perform the technical aspects of all forms of exercise stress testing, electrocardiograms, transtelephonic pacemaker checks, event monitor application, holter monitor application and scanning. Performs, under Physician, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner supervision, all forms of exercise testing. Explains procedure and prepares patient for test. Completes all necessary paper work. Monitors patients during stress testing, identifies abnormal EKG and Blood Pressure findings and reports any abnormalities or concerns to the Physician, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner.
